Capabilities and documentation
| Nominal maximum diameter | 533 mm |
|---|---|
| Nominal maximum length | 660 mm |
| Chuck | 305 mm |
| Maximum spindle speed | 3,200 rpm |
Nominal capabilities are a guide. Part geometry, workholding and requirements are reviewed before the quotation is confirmed.
Custom shafts, bushings and flanges
Turning suits cylindrical surfaces, stepped diameters, faces, grooves and bores. Distinguish functional dimensions from general dimensions and identify where the part mates with other components. Parts with flats, cross-holes or pockets are also reviewed for the required milling operations.
Fits and machining conditions
Specify diameter tolerances, concentricity or runout requirements, threads and surface roughness. Nominal machine limits do not guarantee that every geometry of that size can be machined. Grip length, stock rigidity and tool access are checked for each part. State measurable requirements on the drawing instead of a general request for “high precision”.
What affects CNC turning cost
The quotation starts with material grade and stock size, material removal, operation count and quantity. Setup and programming costs are distributed differently for a prototype and a production run. Send STEP / STP and PDF files, quantity and any subsequent operations. Turning and milling can be selected together for the same part in the configurator.

What to send for a complete quotation
A consistent document package helps us confirm operations, price and lead time.
Upload your project- STEP model and dimensioned PDF; DXF for flat parts where available.
- Material grade, thickness or stock size, and quantity.
- Tolerances, threads, visible surfaces and finishing requirements.
- The complete operation sequence, drawing revision and requested lead time.
Frequently asked questions
Can turning and milling be combined?+
Yes. Send one consistent drawing package for the part and select “CNC turning + milling”. The operation sequence and workholding are established after geometry review.
How should I specify the material?+
State the exact material grade and stock dimensions if you supply it. Include the delivery condition and any required treatment; availability and machining compatibility are confirmed in the quotation.
