Start with the service environment
Tell us whether the part is used indoors or outdoors and describe relevant conditions. Exposure, appearance and contact requirements should be communicated before selecting the coating system. We do not assume that a particular colour automatically provides a particular level of protection.
Colour, texture and gloss
Specify a RAL code, texture and desired gloss level. Photographs and screens can display colours differently; for appearance-critical projects, discuss sample approval before the series. State whether the parts need to match an existing product.
Mark surfaces that must stay uncoated
Identify threads, contact faces and areas with special dimensional requirements. This helps define masking. For a complete quotation, send part dimensions, material, quantity and a drawing with finishing notes. Coating is confirmed through technical review, separately from the instant cutting estimate.
